As always, late spring and summer are busy times here at PEO EIS, and we mark a number of changes in the months ahead.

In April 2023, PEO EIS’ ArmyIgnitED team hit a major milestone on its way to full deployment of the Army’s voluntary education program.

Combining 28 disparate Soldier and civilian training systems into one cohesive system requires more than extensive planning. It demands collaboration, prioritizing people over processes, and a willingness to respond to change in increments over time — otherwise known as an iterative approach.

Spring marks change and new beginnings, and I’m happy to announce some exciting developments at PEO EIS this season.

“What makes a good leader within the military has come a long way, and the rise of emotional intelligence is a much-needed addition to a leader’s toolbelt,” said Maj. Each February, we observe Black History Month and reflect on the tremendous contributions of Black Americans to our country and our history.

Happy New Year! Wishing everyone a healthy, meaningful and productive 2023. The team has put together a blog highlighting some of our achievements from 2022. I am proud of the team and all that we have accomplished. We are looking forward to a great year ahead!
